The brand new album entitled "Hungarian logos" is here!
A renowned judging panel selected 680 logos from over 4000 entries to be showcased in the long awaited album published by Scolar Design.
I am super proud to be one of the 319 designers whose work was included in the book. Altogether 9 of the logos I designed were selected to be showcased in the album.

LOGO LOUNGE 9

LogoLounge.com, in partnership with HOW/F+W Media, announces the launch of LogoLounge 9, and congratulates the 500+ designers and design firms that earned their place within its pages by continuing to push the boundaries of logo design. The 2,000 logos in LogoLounge 9 were chosen from a pool of roughly 25,000 by an international panel of jurors.
“The LogoLounge books are both a trophy and a resource,” explains LogoLounge creator Bill Gardner. “The website is where the greatest volume of research and networking takes place, but the books have become must-haves for designers and logo voyeurs alike due to the high-level vetting that occurs, as well as the 20+ case studies that feature a wide range of branding projects.”

9th GRAPHIFEST 2015 – 14th GOLDEN PIN (ARANYRAJZSZÖG) AWARDS AND EXHIBITION
November 5, 20159th Graphifest opened on November 5, 2015 at Tesla.kult in Budapest, Hungary. Along with Graphifest the 14th Golden Pin Awards and Exhibition was also organised, which is one of the most prestigious awards in Hungary. I am greatly honoured and filled with joy to be amongst the awarded designers this year.

Novoceram 150-year anniversary signage
February 10, 2015I designed the '150 ans' logo back in 2013, it was created for the 150th anniversary of Novoceram, a French manufacturer of wall and floor ceramic porcelain tiles. This signage was on display since, but now that the set was dismantled, I received the signage. It was a great surprise, thank you, Francesco! :)

A type conference was organised in Australia in September 2013, and the organisers decided to publish a book to go with it. The book includes calligraphy, custom lettering, typography and type design from around the world, the only criteria was to make it black and white. I had two of my pieces selected into the book. Wish I could've checked out the conference as well...

This year I had the great honour of receiving a special award ('különdíj') from the Society of Hungarian Graphic Designers and Typographers (MATT).

November 10, 2013I was invited to create a poster for the graphic design exhibition entitled 'Woman-Blood-Lines; Hommage à Bruno Munari'. The exhibition is part of the official program of the Budapest Design Week 2013, and is organized by the Society of Hungarian Graphic Designers and Typographers.
I decided to use hand-made letters to create the title (Design As Art) of Bruno Munari's design book, "one of the most important and influential design books ever published". (source)

Enlightenment (THE A-HA(!) EFFECT) | EXHIBITION
October 01, 2013I was invited to create an art piece for the graphic design exhibition titled Enlightenment
(THE A-HA(!) EFFECT). The exhibition is part of the official program of the Budapest Design Week 2013, and is organized by Visionary7. The aim of the exhibition is to introduce the creatives of the Visionary Cloud. For this project I decided to create a hand lettered piece which was then stitched with a phosphorescent yarn. So when the lights are turned off, the writing lights up.
