I've been wanting to do my own Alphabet Project for a while now, the idea was to design each letter using
a different technique and style.

My first letter – 'A' – is a script letter, made up of different sized holes pierced through cardboard. It is photographed with light coming from above, as well as light coming from behind the cardboard, through
the holes.

In the first version I used a needle to pierce the cardboard by hand, but it was very difficult not to crinkle the paper. So in the end a cnc router was used which also made it easier for the holes to be sized differently.
Thank you for watching.
